The Journal

The Journal 80 sheets A5 14 x 20.5 cm hard cover with cotton case

This is one of my favorite, the vintage one!
Brown, old, and stuff.. I use a lot of tea to make the oldies effect..

(Oh, how much I miss my Dad..)

The ''in-case-of-lost-please-return-to" page.. I use paper from the old magazines, ripped it, and gluing back with paper tape.. with tea and watercolor to make the effect..

when viewed from afar..

This is a page behind the ''in-case-of-lost-please-return-to" page..
Using watercolor to make the artwork..

It's a tree full with letters twig..;)

Tea again.. I love tea..

and pages with the old postage stamps.. with old tea tags and watercolors..

again, my madness with mocca .. I took this picture from the cover of first album's of mocca, My Diary..

DETAILS, baby..

and the front and rear view..

  • Accept only your own responsibility in situations.

  • Set realistic expectations for yourself.

  • Focus on the process rather than the results.

  • Focus on successes rather than on failures.

  • Develop your own personal definition of success, instead of society's.

  • Be realistic about time expectations and perspectives.

  • Remember, life does have troublesome problems. This is normal.

  • Recognize that you will be criticized more than praised by parents, partners, and supervisors.
  • Create variety: do old things in new ways.

  • Make your work/study area more stimulating: redecorate, add music, change colors.

  • Leave the office/campus for lunch and errands, if possible.

  • Learn to be detached from problems.

  • Do paperwork immediately. Don't procrastinate.

  • Ask others for positive feedback.

  • Develop a hobby and spend time on it regularly.

  • Learn and practice sound money management.

  • Don't bring work home with you.

I found a very good picture on flickr.
Javanese dancers, like Rama or Arjuna.

and you know, the photographer named Eric Lafforgue. He's French.

(hmm.. I wondering why..)

He's capture a face of Javanese women with a great angle..

you know, I always loved the Javanese culture...

He was wearing stagen to tighten his cloth.
See the veins in his hands

He must be a professional dancer at the Keraton Palace.
I suddenly missing Jogja..

Enjoy the other pictures here.

Lovely Swinging Sunday

Lovely Swinging Sunday
80 sheets A5 14 x 20.5 cm Hard cover with cotton case

I just inspired by this lovely song by my favourite band ever after, MOCCA :

Strolling along down the road in the evening with the moon and the sky

Hey diddle-diddle the cat in the fiddle my heart jumps over the moon

My hands are held while we’re crossing the street

It’s all I could hope for
Seeing your smile when I tickle your tummy is all I ever wish for

Sometimes you’re sweeter than a pie made of lemon

But sometimes full of secrets like Clark Kent

Twist me around

All I need is someone who’s willing to stroke my hair
Like a soft blowing breeze..
My poor sentimental side
Twist me around

I’ve always dreamed of being couple like Daisy and the famous Donald Duck

Harry and Sally or Bonnie and Clyde all you have to do is knock

Sometimes you’re sweeter than a pie made of lemon

But sometimes full of secrets like Clark Kent

Twist me around

All I need is someone who’s willing to stroke my hair
Like a soft blowing breeze..
My poor sentimental side
Twist me around

You can also have this song here

and see their website too..

(You know, I'm crazy about this band since they first appeared)

The "in-case-of-lost-please-return-to" page

I also draw the monthly calendar and I use the tea to give effect to the paper and how much I liked the result..

I draw some sweet stuff here.. spend enough time for coloring, I use the watercolor..
but the result is satisfactory enough ( I think),
and my friend bought it..;)

and here are some details that I draw on this book it's all watercolor artwork..

and I love teddy bear..

and some spark of watercolor..

detail, details..

Here I Go!

Finally..this is my own project..
Work (and dreaming) so hard for this thing for a long time..
I call it personal pleasure project. Because i was working this project all by myself..

the books

And each book has each a different theme, I call it a series, I'll explain one by one of the series later. For each series I just make as many as two, or at most four with the same series.

Cherry All the Way

I was hungry and bored. And this is cool. You can see so many cherries I've got. This fruit is great. It has a brilliant color, and lovely shape. Below you can see the cherry sorbet.

Hmm..I wondered how its taste..sour maybe.. but I dont care about the taste. I love how it looks..

Yummeee, and look right after these..
It's roasted peach and creme fraiche pops ( I dont what's that exactly, but it must be great..)

Look for more picture from here

Great Things Will Come Your Way..

Sitting at work thinking about the desire.

(Cars that I'm crazy over.
It's only my brother's old toys, I had never noticed before. Only now looks cool. Haha)
